What Happened:
We discussed further the future of DofE including expedition and training days.
It was pointed out that for those who haven't yet paid, a fee of £11.50 is required in order to participate with DofE. If paying by cheque, then make it payable to Colin Henderson.
We counted around 5 silver and 6 bronze participants will take part.
Then, the dates were announced. It is crucial that everyone attends these training days and nights.
21 February, 14 February, 27-28 March, 17-18 April.
The final will be around 1-3 July, so please tell your parents in order that they don't book holiday flights first thing july.
We said we would sort out the equipment, where MYNI will pay for most things, except personal belongings such as boots and socks.
It is essential that you record your participation in a diary. Commitment is necessary and the diary is your proof of committment.
Please not thaty Colin sent out the forms for the members proposal. You must fill this in and send it back to him by email.
It was suggested that colin would find us a volunteering activity for 3 months - fortnightly. We still await his reply.
